Physician Assistant
As a first generation immigrant and 82nd Airborne veteran, I bring an inclusive, empathetic mindset to my practice. I focus on active listening and breaking down complex medical details into clear, actionable steps.
Family Medicine Resident
I enjoy caring for patients and supporting their overall well-being.
Family Medicine Resident
Growing up in Los Angeles, I experienced firsthand how a person’s neighborhood, language, and access to care can shape their overall health. I’m grateful to join Kheir and serve the local community in a way that extends beyond medicine alone.
Family Medicine Resident
What drew me to family medicine is the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while caring for a wide range of medical needs across different stages of life. I am especially drawn to community health centers because they allow me to provide comprehensive, accessible care to diverse and underserved populations while addressing both the medical and social factors that influence health.

I am a multilingual, tricultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in mental health and social services. I have extensive experience serving underserved Korean, Japanese, and other diverse populations in community-based settings. I utilize a patient-centered, culturally competent approach that promotes patients’ resilience, strengths, and autonomy.

I have dedicated my career to improving the quality of life and well-being of older adults through gerontology, healthcare, and senior care programs.
My approach is centered on treating each participant with dignity, respect, and compassion while providing practical, person-centered care that supports healthy and successful aging.
ADHC Administrator
My career path has been centered on serving and caring for people, including my previous healthcare experience with U.S. Renal Care, where I worked closely with patients and learned the importance of compassionate, individualized care. My background and graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) have further strengthened my belief in understanding each person as a whole and providing care with empathy, dignity, and respect.
My goal is to help every participant feel respected, supported, and genuinely cared for. I believe quality care begins with listening, understanding each individual’s needs, and treating every person with compassion and dignity.
Pharmacist
Your health is our top priority. Kheir pharmacy staff are here to listen to your concerns, answer questions and build trusteeship in our community.
Optometrist
I wanted to practice in a community healthcare setting because I know just how daunting it can be to receive healthcare in an unfamiliar setting and language as an immigrant myself. I hope to better my patients’ experiences and access to healthcare by providing them proper, multi-cultural care that they deserve.
Optometrist
I was drawn to community health because I believe everyone deserves access to quality, compassionate eye care. My approach is centered on listening to my patients, educating them about their eye health, and providing personalized care.
Dentist
Family Medicine Physician
I believe a patient’s own perspective is just as essential to their care as anything I bring to the exam room.
Physician Assistant
I am a clinician committed to serving underserved communities and improving access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare. I strive to provide patient-centered care, address barriers to healthcare access, and help improve health outcomes for individuals and underserved communities.

Family Medicine Physician
I am a lifelong Angeleno and have been involved in graduate medical education in family medicine since 2012. I graduated medical school in 2000 and have practiced in LA ever since. I went into medicine to work in communities reflective of where and how I grew up. I like to make sure patients understand their current health status and feel free to ask questions.
I know patients have full lives with many responsibilities, and I try to address as many issues as possible in each visit to minimize return trips to the clinic, which often come with their own transportation issues and time away from work. Health care should not add a burden to your already full plate.

I grew up in Koreatown, and Los Angeles will always feel like home to me. My connection to this community has shaped my deep commitment to caring for patients with compassion, respect, and an understanding of the many experiences that influence their health. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for underserved communities in Salinas, CA, partnering with farmworker families, and developing community health and mentorship programs. I am fluent in Spanish, and it is especially meaningful to me to bring my passion for accessible, compassionate family medicine back to Los Angeles and serve the community that helped shape who I am today.

I was drawn to primary care because I value building long-term relationships with patients and helping them improve their health through preventive care and education. Working at a community health center is especially meaningful to me because it allows me to provide accessible, compassionate care to diverse and underserved populations.

As an immigrant from Guanajuato, Mexico, I focus on patient-centered, culturally competent care for our Los Angeles communities. I enjoy reading, exercising, and going to the movies with my husband and family. I have 2 cats of my own and foster cats as well.

I was drawn to working at a community health center because I have seen, through my family’s past experiences, the positive impact it has on the health and well-being of patients.
Medical Director, QI Chair
I believe everyone deserves high-quality healthcare. Working in community health allows me to care for people who might otherwise have difficulty accessing it and to build long-term relationships with my patients. I see healthcare as a partnership. My goal is to provide evidence-based care while helping patients navigate a complex healthcare system and create realistic plans that fit their goals, values, and lives. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Physician Assistant
I chose to become a Physician Assistant to help people directly, and community health work lets me focus on patients who often face the biggest barriers to care. That’s what makes this job meaningful to me.
Nurse Practitioner
I welcome every patient who needs care. I am proud to serve the community where I grew up and help to meet the healthcare needs in Koreatown.
Medical Director
Since graduating residency in 2015, I have served the Los Angeles community at Kheir Clinic as both a staff physician and medical director. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care while shaping the future of medicine as a core faculty member of our residency program. In this role, I look forward to mentoring and developing the next generation of compassionate physicians.
Family Medicine Physician
I was drawn to family medicine because I want to help people stay as healthy as possible so that they can live their lives to the fullest. I love taking care of the whole family, which is why I chose a specialty where I can see kids, parents, and grandparents. My own parents are immigrants for whom English is a second language and they had limitations in their own health care due to challenges with navigating the American healthcare system. I chose to work in a community center to help patients like my family.
Physician Assistant
As a first-generation clinician, my commitment is to deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based medicine that bridges gaps in care and fosters lasting wellness for our community.
Physician Assistant
Born and raised in Los Angeles myself, it is a privilege to give back to my community as a clinician and provide culturally competent primary care to my patients.
Pediatrician
I chose pediatrics because I enjoy building long-term relationships with children and their families and supporting them as they grow. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, including playing tennis and running. I also love reading.
